Sustainable Redhill is a network of the various local environmental and community organisations in Redhill, Reigate and the surrounding area. We meet for Redhill Green Drinks on the third Tuesday of each month, 8:00 p.m. at The Garland pub (map) in Redhill. We also organise meetings on specific topics related to local sustainability issues, and publicise activities and events of local groups in the network.
Sustainable Redhill is campaigning for …
- Improve what we have. More energy efficiency and renewable energy in our existing homes, offices and public spaces.
- Sustainable new developments – aiming for a “zero carbon borough”
- Renewable energy initiatives in our local area including domestic and community scale wind, better use of Surrey’s woodlands.
- Better use of our local energy resources.
- Improved waste and recycling.
If you would like to be added to our emailing list, have any comments or have items you would like to be added to the site, then contact us. We generally send out one or two emails per month.
