		<description><![CDATA[The Memorial Park (once the Memorial Sports Ground) was given to the people of the Borough in memory of those who fell in the Great (First World) War. It was diminished in size though road widening and the introduction of the London Road roundabout, etc. I suggest that the Council should at least make up the difference with a donation of additional land. Sports for young people in line with the original bequest certainly, but also a nature reserve, either on the site or elsewhere.]]></description>
