Growing Redhill to collect national prize!

Event on 14th November – all welcome!

In the October newsletter we reported that the Growing Redhill project had heard it was successful in a bid to win at least 250 pounds worth of new tools from Fiskars, the Finnish tool company (www.fiskarsgarden.co.uk).

The long-awaited event with Fiskars to receive our new tools is to take place on Saturday 14 November. We will be up at the site, off the footpath from Church Hill in Merstham, from 11am to 1pm. Come along to celebrate Love Parks Week, help prune the apple trees and tidy up the site for the Winter. If you would like a plot for your own growing, come along and we’ll help you make it ready for planting. For public transport the site is within walking distance of Merstham Station and is on the 405 bus route from Redhill.
